We got to Hawaii on Saturday and enjoyed the pools and beach for as long as we could stay awake. We were all in bed and most of us asleep by 8:00pm Hawaii time. Unfortunately we are still struggling with Hawaii time, it has taken a lot longer to get back to normal! Sunday we got up and went to church. We have friends who live there and we always enjoy going to their ward. And we also enjoy the Sunday feast at their house on Sunday afternoons! But in between church and dinner, we had some time so we decided to hike Diamond Head. None of us had ever done it before, we didn't know what we were in for, but we all really loved it and would do it again.
Every where we went Tyler would find a tree to climb.
The views were amazing as well as the hike. There were bunkers left over from the war at the top.
On Monday we headed over to Kailua for our favorite breakfast at Boots and Kimos and then stopped in at Hanauma Bay for snorkeling. We have never taken the kids there yet, and it did not disappoint. We saw lots of fish and turtles.
Every time the sun came out from the clouds we took advantage of it to warm us up!
It is interesting to me that our pictures turned out so nicely. If you didn't know better, the weather appears to be perfect, but we were in fact freezing. Sunday was rainy and windy. Fortunately we never got rained on, but the wind was nuts! Monday was about the same. When we got done snorkeling, we headed back to the hotel to relax in the hot tubs and pools. My mom talked to my brother on the way home and mentioned how warm it was and we felt bad we were in Hawaii freezing. Lucky for us, the weather turned out perfect the rest of the week.
Tuesday we headed to the north shore and Polynesian Cultural Center. Along the way, David and Jacob found their dream swimming suits! Too bad they didn't have their sizes:(
I found my dream shave ice!
The boys tried out tattoos
And we finished it off with the luau before the night show

We finally made it over to the PCC. We were staying for the night show, so we were prepared with jackets, but the weather was perfect!

We like to tease Kirk about how much he loves the Tahitian girls. If you have seen them dance, then you know why, they are amazing!
We went on a canoe ride, the boys made things, fished, and threw spears.
And we finished it off with the luau before the night show
